The South Pacific Regional Fisheries Monitoring Organisation is an intergovernmental organization that is devoted to the long-term conservation as well as constant use of the fishery resources of the South Pacific Sea and also in so doing safeguarding the aquatic environments in which the resources take place.

The Organization consists of a Commission as well as a variety of subsidiary bodies. The participants of the Commission are Australia, Belize, Republic of Chile, People’s Republic of China, Chef Islands, Republic of Cuba, European Union, Kingdom of Denmark in respect of the Faroe Islands, Republic of Korea, New Zealand, Russian Federation, Chinese Taipei and also the Republic of Vanuatu.atu.
